Logistic Unit Management

Inbound Processing – Load and Put Away tasks #

  • Recommended not to have a logistic model with automatic proposed logistic areas
  • Have a current Unload task assigned (folder and user)

Go to Inbound processing on the Main menu

Go to Unload

Search the task using the loop symbol on the left, then input the Task ID or Reference Document and hit Done

Soon after only the items related to the task are visible. You can change the view by hitting the button at the top right

Choose the item you want to confirm

Scan Logistic area (Receiving area), Barcode, input the Actual Quantity, and hit SAVE.

Automatically the system will add the logistic unit and then the item will be highlighted in yellow with the information inputted. Hit FINISH and the item highlighted in yellow disappears meaning the information went through SAP ByD. IMPORTANT: when you confirm the information without flagging the Open Case checkbox the system automatically will assign the logistic unit.

After assigning the Put Away task created by the system go to Inbound processing at the Main Menu

Go to Putaway option

Search the task using the loop symbol on the left, then input the Task ID or Reference Document and hit Done

Choose and hit the item you want to confirm

Scan Logistic area (Receiving area), Barcode, input Actual Quantity and hit DONE

Automatically the app will preserve the same logistic unit as the Unload task, then the item will disappear after the inputted information travels through SAP ByD.

OPTIONAL. You can review the stock overview to confirm the received material.

Outbound Processing – Put away task #

Prerequisites

  • Have a current Outbound task assigned (folder and user)

Go to application Main menu and then go to Outbound processing

Select the pick task option

Search the task and then tap the item to start

OPTION 1. When you open the item and if the available quantity on your stock doesn’t have logistic units then enter/scan logistic area and barcode information

After scanning all barcodes you will see the actual quantity updated, it’s very important to flag the “open case” checkbox if the product in the stock overview doesn’t have logistic unit. Then scroll down

If the product has identified stock then choose the identified stock. Enter done to confirm the quantities entered

Then you will see that the line item is updated and disappeared from the screen

OPTION 2. If the item available quantity on your stock has logistic units, then enter/scan logistic area and barcode information

After scanning all your boxes/cases (Logistic units) you will see the Actual quantity updated, then scroll down

If the product has identified stock then choose the identified stock. Enter done to confirm the quantities entered

Then you will see that the line item is updated and disappeared from the screen
